Votorantim and CPP JV consolidates assets worth US$3.2 billion

Brazil's Votorantim and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) have hired Stocche Forbes and Cescon, Barrieu, Flesch & Barreto Advogados to merge VTRM Energia with electricity producer Companhia Energética de São Paulo (CESP), in a deal worth around 17.9 billion reais (US$3.2 billion).
