US$1.7-billion Continental/Internacional merger is banking first
In one of the biggest-ever banking mergers in Panama, the country’s third and fifth largest banks, Banco Continental de Panamá and Banco Internacional de Panamá, have joined forces to form an institution with over US$1.7 billion in assets, over US$165 million in capital and some 50,000 customers.
