Ulhôa Canto helps British Gas to break Petrobras monopoly
After five months of conflict between British Gas and Transportadora Brasileira Gasoduto Bolívia-Brazil SA, a subsidiary of Petrobras, over pipeline access, Brazil’s National Oil Agency (Agência Nacional do Petróleo) has issued a final decision which allowing British Gas to use the Bolivia-Brazil Pipeline (Gasbol) to transport natural gas. The ruling thus opens up the pipeline for use by other shippers.
