Slaughter, Uría and Cleary land private equity investment for Santander

Best friend firms Slaughter and May in the UK and Uría Menéndez in Spain, Portugal and Brazil took the lead on Banco Santander’s agreement with private equity firms Warburg Pincus and General Atlantic to grow the Spanish bank’s global asset management business, which is to be based in London, the bank confirmed yesterday.
