Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP’s New York, São Paulo and London offices and Brazil’s BMA - Barbosa, Müssnich, Aragão are helping BTG Pactual spin off its commodities trading arm, as the bank seeks to isolate the lucrative business after the arrest of BTG’s former CEO for his involvement in a corruption investigation.
