High-profile private practice lawyers, the director of sustainability and responsible investment at Grupo Financiero Banorte and the CEO of Mexico’s BIVA stock exchange will appear at Latin Lawyer and GIR Connect: Anti-Corruption & Investigations Mexico.
The conference will be held virtually on 10 June. It is chaired by Andrew Levine of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York and Diego Sierra of Von Wobeser y Sierra SC in Mexico City.

The event will feature a panel of experts discussing the latest in Mexico’s investigations and enforcement landscape. Another session will cover the rise of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) adherence in Latin America, and how companies and investors alike are seeking to make business decisions with issues such as climate change, sustainability and human rights in mind.
A third panel will convene speakers to discuss how to assess and mitigate third-party compliance risk. The panel will examine best practices for screening, engaging and monitoring third parties in Latin America, addressing anti-corruption, antitrust and other essential compliance considerations.
