Laws are not enough to combat LatAm gender pay gap

The recent law on equal pay in Brazil is a step in the right direction to reduce the gender pay gap in Latin America’s largest economy, but panellists at Latin Lawyer Live: Labour & Employment agreed that there is a long way to go for the region’s equal pay laws to create tangible changes, and affirmative actions must be taken by companies to help reduce their pay gaps.
