Biography
Walter Keiniger joined the firm in 1999.
His practice involves counselling local and foreign companies in the design, planning and organisation of tax efficient financial transactions, including loans, project financing, securitisation of assets and derivatives. In the area of mergers and acquisitions he has been involved in many transactions, advising both buyers and sellers in the tax consequences derived from the transfer of assets and shares, and also advised on joint ventures between local and foreign companies. He also has a strong background in litigation in tax-related cases.
He has written articles in national and international publications, and has been invited as speaker in different conferences held in Argentina and abroad on matters related to his area of specialisation. He is a member of the Argentine Fiscal Association. He holds a master’s in taxation from the University of Florida.
