Vivian Liberman has over 17 years of experience in the legal practice. In addition to heading BLP’s banking and finance practice area, she specialises in business law and sustainability.
She advises multinational corporations in mergers & acquisitions. She also has extensive knowledge of credit facilities and financing on behalf of international banks and financial institutions. For her outstanding work, Vivian has been designated by the publication, Latin Lawyer, as one of the Inspiring Women in Law.
Vivian is currently the coordinator of the Pro-Bono Commission of the Costa Rican Bar Association and serves on the board of directors of the National Advisory Board on Social Responsibility. She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association (International Chapter), a founding member of the Costa Rican Harvard – MIT Club. She serves as director of the BLP strategy on Sustainability named Sostenibilidad by BLP. Vivian studied at the University of Costa Rica where she graduated summa cum laude and obtained a law master’s degree from Harvard Law School.
