Biography
Terence Foo is the co-managing partner of Clifford Chance’s China office. He has over 20 years of experience in advising multinational corporate clients on private and public M&A and joint ventures in China, as well as in advising Chinese enterprises on their outbound acquisitions. He is listed as a Leading Individual in private equity in China by Chambers Asia Pacific and The Legal 500 Asia Pacific.
Terence's experience includes advising JCHX Mining Management Co, Ltd on its strategic investment in TSX-listed Cordoba Minerals Corp, which owns a mining project in Colombia, CITIC Agri Fund Management Co, Ltd on its acquisition of a select portion of Dow AgroSciences' (a subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company) corn seed business in Brazil for approximately US$1.1 billion, as well as State Grid Corporation of China on its proposed acquisition of power transmission assets in South America.
