Siro Astolfi is a partner within the general corporate and the mergers & acquisitions practices at Mitrani, Caballero & Ruiz Moreno. He specialises in complex corporate advice and competition and antitrust law. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and greenfield investment projects, capital markets and other financial transactions, antitrust, commercial and/or regulatory conflicts, and corporate governance and compliance advice, both in local and cross-border transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, he served as board member and as executive vice-president of Aerolíneas Argentinas – Austral Líneas Aéreas (2017/2018). He previously headed the corporate and M&A practices at Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi (1993–2016) and was also a foreign associate at Brown & Wood LLP, New York, USA (1997).
Mr Astolfi’s recent transactional work includes: spin-off of Molinos Río de la Plata SA’s (a listed company) entire grains and oilseeds operation and assets and merger of Case New Holland and Iveco’s operations and companies in Argentina.
