Biography
Sergio is a partner at the Garrigues office in Lima focusing his practice on M&A, capital markets and project finance. He has significant experience in local and cross border transactions and represents a variety of clients in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, IPOs and other corporate matters.
Prior to joining the firm, he was a partner at Rubio Leguía Normand corporate department. He also worked as an associate in the New York office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
Sergio has a law degree from Lima University (suma cum laude) and holds a master's in law from Harvard Law School. He is admitted to practise in New York and Peru.
He also lectures the mergers & acquisitions course of the master’s degree in business law at the University of Applied Sciences.
