Biography
Sebastián Ramos specialises in project finance, capital markets, banking matters and ESG. He has extensive experience advising lenders and sponsors in the structuring, development and financing of energy and PPP projects. He is also a contracts expert, specialised in drafting and negotiating agreements for complex projects. He also provides advice to national and international companies in construction agreements, M&A and foreign investment. He has an LLM from the University of Chicago and is a professor of contracts and M&A of the University of Montevideo as well as a professor of contract drafting at the center of postgraduates of that institution. He is the author of the books: Contracts. Their drafting and templates, Project Finance, and The Loan Agreement and its securities, all published by Thomson Reuters. He is also the author of several papers, where he has analysed relevant issues for loan and facility agreements, securities and construction agreements.
