Biography
Partner and member of the energy and natural resources, environment and water law departments. He specialises in energy M&A, renewables, project development, financing, permitting, regulatory, environmental, water law and project finance. He is engaged in initiatives to address climate change, the development of electromobility in Chile and in green hydrogen projects in the context of Chile’s National Green Hydrogen Strategy.
Sebastián has a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica; holds an LLM from Georgetown University; is a fellow of the Academy of American and International Law of the Southwestern Institute for International and Comparative Law; and worked as a foreign associate at Jackson Walker LLP, Texas, USA.
He is a board member of the Chilean mini hydro association and the Chilean electric vehicles association. In the academic field, he is a professor of environmental law at Pontificia Universidad Católica.
