Born in Buenos Aires in 1958; admitted in 1982. Graduated from the Argentine Catholic University Law School and Southern Methodist University, Texas (LLM, 1983). Senior manager partner of Nicholson y Cano Abogados. Adviser to the Chamber of Pension Funds Companies. Author of ‘Effectiveness of the FIDIC Contract under Argentine Law’, IBA Conference, Hong Kong, 1991, and ‘Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgements in Argentina’, International Execution against Judgement Debtors (Sweet & Maxwell, 1993). He is a member of the International Bar Association and the Buenos Aires Bar Association (member of the administrative law committee). His practice areas are financial and commercial law, and he specialises in M&A, foreign investments in Argentina and administrative law. President of “Banco de Alimentos” of Buenos Aires, a non-profit organisation that helps reduce hunger, improve nutrition and avoid food waste; and vice-president of the Buenos Aires City Bar Association.
