Biography

Sandra González leads Ferrere’s litigation and arbitration team. She assists local and international companies operating in different areas of activity, and specialises in complex, multi-jurisdiction cases. She participates in the biggest and most complex litigation and arbitration cases handled by the firm, including international arbitration. Particularly strong experience in disputes in the banking sector and disputes against government entities.

Sandra González is Vice President of the Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce, and regularly participates as a panellist on arbitration and foreign investment issues at international conferences.

She is chair of the Latin American Council, International Section, New York State Bar Association. Member of the International Section, American Bar Association, the Latin American Arbitration Association and the Uruguayan Bar Association. Educated at Harvard Law School (LLM, 2000) and Universidad de la República (JD).
