Rodrigo López is a specialist in banking and finance law, mergers and acquisitions, financial regulation and fintech law.
He has participated in various financing transactions representing the lenders as well as borrower, including commercial banks, Mexican development banks and multilateral agencies.
Between 2008 and 2009, he was a foreign associate at the Washington, DC office of Arnold & Porter LLP.
He was the General Counsel for Banco Itaú BBA in Mexico (2015–2016), the largest financial institution in Latin America. In 2016, Rodrigo rejoined as a partner to Kuri Breña, the firm in which he began his professional career as an associate in 2005.
