Rodrigo Conesa joined the firm in 1991 and has been a partner since 2002. He is the leading partner of the real estate practice area. He has more than 20 years of recognised experience participating in operations involving real estate development, financing and acquisitions. He represents developers in the acquisition, development, financing and divestment of real estate assets in all vertical markets of the industry.
Rodrigo advises pension and private equity funds on structuring and investing in private funds for real estate financing. He also represents real estate investment funds with respect to their investments in Mexico, including property acquisitions, financing, development and asset management. In mergers and acquisitions, he is very active primarily in the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets.
Rodrigo was admitted to practise law in New York in 1997. He worked as a foreign associate at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom in New York (1994–1995).
