Biography
Roberto is a partner of Beccar Varela, having joined the firm in 1984. He is a member of the firm’s executive committee and pro bono committee. He co-heads the firm’s corporate and M&A department.
His practice areas include mergers & acquisitions, corporate and general advice, banks and financial institutions, debt restructuring and project finance. He also has a vast experience in international transactions. Roberto has broad expertise in the financial industry, as well as in general advice to companies of a variety of industries, including telecommunications and natural resources. He has also extensive experience in microfinance and family companies’ advice.
Roberto obtained his law degree from the University of Buenos Aires (1984). He worked as foreign associate at Holme, Roberts & Owen (Denver, Colorado, USA, 1996).
