Biography
Ricardo is one of the founding partners. His practice focuses on projects and corporate finance matters where he advises clients in project finance, syndicated loans, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and corporate consultancy in general. He has also developed an important legal practice in regard to telecommunications, hydrocarbons and environmental matters. Ricardo has participated in several of the most complex corporate and financial transactions that have occurred in the past years in Peru and has been selected by several international directories as one of the top lawyers in his areas of expertise.
He received his JD from University Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela, and this degree was validated by the Pontificia Catholic University of Peru. He holds graduate degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (LLM), Boston University (LLM banking and finance) and Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administración in Caracas (master’s in finance).
Ricardo was an associate with Rodriguez & Mendoza and senior associate at Anzola, Bóveda, Raffalli (Caracas, Venezuela), a foreign associate with Whitman & Ransom (New York), and senior counsel at Corporación Andina de Fomento (CAF). He is fluent in English.
