Biography
René provides legal assistance related to corporate law under complex transactions involving local and international finance institutions, Latin America’s top 100 companies and private equity and venture capital funds. In this regard, René's track record includes legal assistance to sellers and buyers on domestic, cross-border and multijurisdictional M&A transactions, private equity investments and joint ventures on the most diversified industries, such as media, energy renewable, financing, aviation, agribusiness and tech companies. Besides his large experience on M&A, private equity and capital markets, René is also known for being one of the firm's partners who most deal with publicly held companies. Being a polymath and with a unique capability to create effective and inventive solutions, René has a solid track record and is responsible for bringing in a relevant number of the firm’s regular clients.
