Biography
Renato has been working for almost 20 years in tax practice, with a focus on domestic and international tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, project finance and specialist consulting in the taxation of financial markets. He is a professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and Instituto Educacional BMF&BOVESPA of the following subject matters: taxation on financial markets, taxation of derivatives, taxation of fixed income and taxation of investment funds. He is co-author of the book Manual de Tributação do Mercado Financeiro (“Guide to Financial Markets Taxation”).
He is a member of the Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Tributário (IBDT), Associação Brasileira de Direito Financeiro (ABDF) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
