Biography
Specialist in tax consulting involving the interpretation of local and international tax legislation, structuring of new investments, operational and corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, tax modelling of several business models, taxation of several contractual arrangements. Raquel has a strong presence and experience in tax litigation, both in the administrative and judicial spheres. Her experience covers several sectors of industry, commerce and finance, reaching regulated sectors, such as natural resources and energy.
Received her LLB from Faculdade de Direito de Franca and master’s degree in tax law from Pontifícia Catholic University of São Paulo.
Member of the American Bar Association, the Brazilian Bar Association, the São Paulo Lawyers’ Association, the Tax Committee of the International Bar Association and the Brazilian International Fiscal Association Board.
