Biography
Raphael specialises in litigation and arbitration with an emphasis on matters of commercial and corporate civil law including banking/finance and infrastructure. He focuses on restructuring, insolvency and judicial recoveries. He also advises banks and funds in granting post-bankruptcy loans (debtor-in-possession and exit financing) and in providing funding for the acquisition of assets in debt restructurings (acquisition financing). Pedro represents clients in administrative proceedings before the Comissão de Valores Mobiliários (CVM).
Academically, he graduated in law from the University of São Paulo (USP) and obtained his LLM at Columbia University. He has experience as an international associate at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in New York.
