Biography
Rafael is partner in Azevedo Sette Advogados’ corporate and infrastructure practices in São Paulo office. He draws upon more than 15 years’ experience advising clients in complex transactions involving corporate practice, economic law, antitrust and regulatory agencies, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, administrative law, infrastructure, public-private partnerships (PPP) and project finance.
LLB from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo – PUC/SP Law School, and was admitted to practise in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2004. Master’s degree in infrastructure law from the University of Texas, EUA (LLM, 2010).
Before joining Azevedo Sette, Rafael was associate lawyer (2000–2006) in Brazil’s boutique law firm.
Rafael is recommended in The Legal 500 in corporate M&A, public law and projects and nfrastructure, in Latin Lawyer 250 he is listed in regard to administrative law.
