Paula Anderson is a partner in the litigation practice. Her practice encompasses FCPA investigations; commercial, bankruptcy and M&A-related litigation; antitrust; and international arbitration. She advises global leaders in finance, insurance, automotive, telecommunications, O&G, engineering, media and manufacturing. Paula has taught Advanced Trial Advocacy Training for prosecutors at the UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and the International Criminal Court. Previously, Paula served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Diane Lebedeff, New York Supreme Court, and the Honourable Donna Mills, Civil Court of Manhattan.
In Latin America, Paula represented the former General Counsel and CEO of a multinational’s Brazilian subsidiary in a DOJ/SEC FCPA investigation and conducted anticorruption due diligence in the sale of Nokia’s Brazilian mobile phone manufacturing business to Microsoft.
Paula was named to GIR’s inaugural 40 Under 40 list of investigations specialists and was later named one of the Most Influential Black Lawyers by Savoy Magazine.
