Biography

Patrick Jackson represents large Brazilian banks and multinationals on US securities and regulatory matters, including equity, debt and liability management transactions and anti-corruption and sanctions matters. He also advises Brazilian clients on international banking and restructuring. 

Patrick's experience includes advising BNDES on the largest-ever secondary offering of shares in Brazil, selling approximately 724 million common shares in Petrobras, valued at approximately US$5.2 billion; on the US$864 million IPO by Brazilian healthcare services provider Hapvida in 2018 and their follow-on issuance; Klabin, the largest paper producer in Brazil, on its 2019 and 2017 issuances of green bonds; Samarco Mineração in connection with financial consequences from an environmental incident suffered in late 2015 and potential restructuring of its approximately US$4 billion in outstanding export prepayment loans and notes; and on the global FCPA risk assessment for a major Brazilian construction conglomerate, consisting of reviews and analysis of operations in over 29 countries; and various US sanctions-related matters for Brazil's largest exporters.
