Biography

Paloma has over 20 years of experience in the development and financing of infrastructure projects in a variety of industries, including energy, oil and gas, ports, transportation, public lighting and water and waste management. Paloma was previously a partner in other firms in Brazil and served as senior in-house counsel at the Inter-American Development Bank for four years in Washington, DC. She has a law degree from the University of São Paulo and an LLM in Corporate Law and Governance from Stanford Law School.

Education: University of São Paulo Law School, São Paulo (LLB, 2001); Getulio Vargas Foundation Law School, São Paulo (postgraduate studies in administrative law, contracts and practice, 2004); Stanford University Law School, California (LLM in Corporate Governance and Practice, 2008). In-house Counsel for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Washington-DC, US (2008–2012); Member: Brazilian Bar Association.
