Oscar joined the firm as a partner of our Lima office in 2014. Prior to that he was partner at Rubio (Peru). He was a foreign associate at Baker & Hostetler at DC and is member of the IBA
He has more than 20 years' experience providing legal services in the most important Peruvian transactions. He has strong expertise in banking, project finance and capital markets and has advised clients on a wide range of matters, including the incorporation and operation of financial institutions and a range of financing structures among others. He has served as board member of several companies, and has also participated as speaker in seminars regarding infrastructure financing, including SiLAS, several versions of the Latin American Energy and Infrastructure Finance Forum and the 1st Annual Peruvian Energy and Infrastructure Finance Forum.
Academic: Law degree from Lima University and a master of law degree (LLM) from American University Law School.
