Biography

Nicolás has more than 15 years’ experience in energy and administrative law. He specialises in all aspects of legal energy and infrastructure matters, including regulatory aspects, disputes, structuring of projects both locally and cross-border, due diligence and public procurement and bids.

Currently, his practice includes a strong presence in the power generation (both conventional and renewable) industry, providing advice to developers and sponsors, financial institutions and investors with respect to thermal, wind, solar, biomass and hydropower projects.

He has been recognised by Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500 and other legal publications as a leading specialist in his practice area.

He graduated as a lawyer at the University of Buenos Aires in 1999 and completed an MSc public policy degree from the London School of Economics in 2003.

Nicolás is also a professor of administrative law at the University of  San Andrés and a professor of energy law for the MSc in energy taught at the University of Buenos Aires.
