Biography
Morena heads the intellectual property and health registration department of the firm region-wide and specialises in dealing with complex IP cases, including IP litigation processes. Morena received her law degree from the University Dr José Matías Delgado and is authorised as a practising attorney and notary public by the Supreme Court of El Salvador. She obtained a master’s degree in Intellectual and Industrial Property from EAE business School and Universidad de Barcelona.
She is the El Salvador representative before the Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI); board member of the Salvadoran Association of Intellectual Property (ASPI); member of the International Trademark Association Non-Traditional Trademarks Committee; member of the Center of Legal Studies (CEJ); member of the Intellectual Property Committee and Legal Studies of the American Chamber of El Salvador (AMCHAM), and member of the Association for the National Children’s Hospital Benjamín Bloom.
