Mónica van der Schraft is the head of the Litigation and Arbitration department.
She has broad experience in advising clients in highly complex litigation and arbitration proceedings, and in negotiations aimed at resolving disputes out of court. She has represented clients in disputes in a wide range of industries, such as mining, construction, insurance and antitrust, as well as in corporate disputes.
Mónica van der Schraft is a member of the Chilean Bar Association and of the International Bar Association. She is also a director of the Chilean Chapter of the Spanish Arbitration Club, a member of the Ethics Tribunal of the Chilean Bar Association, a director of Libertades Públicas AG, a member of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation and a member of the Chilean Nominations Committee of the ICC. She is listed in the arbitrators body of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Chilean Chamber of Commerce (CAM).
Mónica van der Schraft studied law at University of Chile and has a law master's from Harvard University Law School.
