Partner at BMA’s corporate law practice with more than a decade of experience in mergers and acquisitions and corporate litigation.
Miguel has acted in transactions and litigation in various industries, including energy, health, consumer products, services, oil and gas, technology, construction, advertising and infrastructure. He has been involved in leveraged buyouts, acquisition and sale of distressed assets, defending listed companies against hostile takeover bids and corporate reorganisations, and took part in one of the largest project finance transactions ever made in Brazil’s renewable energy sector. Miguel has vast experience in all sorts of commercial agreements and in corporate litigation involving both close and public companies. Miguel was an international visiting attorney in the M&A practice area at Skadden & Arps in New York and holds an LLM degree in corporate law from New York University.
Miguel was highlighted as one of the most admired lawyers in Brazil in the relevant legal publication Análise Advocacia.
