Biography
Mr Miguel AM Tesón was born in 1957. He graduated from the School of Law and Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires at the age of 25.
He then entered the University of Alcalá de Henares – Madrid, Spain – and earned a master's degree in public administration.
His professional career began in the Argentine Supreme Court, then as court reporter and court clerk for the Federal Tax Court; General Secretary of ENTel (state-owned telecommunications company) and General Secretary of the Federal Tax Court.
Mr Tesón joined Estudio O’Farrell in 1990. Nowadays, he leads the tax law department.
He is the co-author of Procedimiento Tributario (‘Tax Proceedings’) published by Editorial Tesis, Buenos Aires, 1988, and has been a lecturer in several countries.
He was president of the Argentine Fiscal Studies Association from 2012 to 2014, and is also a member of the City of Buenos Aires Bar Association and the International Fiscal Association.
