Biography
Co-head of the area of infrastructure and energy. Represents financial institutions, private companies, pension funds and private equity funds in a large range of financial and commercial transactions. With a great expertise in M&A transactions in the sector of infrastructure and energy, Penteado focuses his practice in projects and transactions involving private investments in regulated sectors, including concessions, privatisations, projects financing and projects development. He has solid experience in representing the public and private sectors in structuring and modelling public–private partnerships (PPPs).
Received his LLB from Pontifícia Catholic University of São Paulo and master’s degree in commercial law from University of São Paulo. He has also LLM from University of Virginia School of Law.
Foreign associate at Chadbourne & Parke LLP, New York (2007/2008).
He is a member of the International Bar Association, Brazilian Bar Association and São Paulo Lawyers Association.
