Matías López Figueroa is a partner in the banking and finance team.
Mr López Figueroa advises arrangers, investment and commercial banks, development banks, export credit agencies, institutional investors, funds, and corporations in banking and corporate financing transactions, including trade financing.
He focuses also on local and cross-border acquisition financings, syndicated loans, asset-backed loans, and project financings, representing sponsors, creditors, including arrangers, investment and commercial banks, development banks, export credit agencies, institutional investors and other financial institutions.
He is also a legal specialist in debt restructuring, foreign exchange regulations and in advising asset management companies, particularly in the local mutual funds industry.
He was a foreign associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, New York, during 2013/2014.
