Marité has broad experience negotiating agreements and dealing with regulatory aspects for the extractive industries, having advised foreign and national clients in the planning, development and implementation of investment projects in energy, mining and gas.
She is also experienced in corporate/M&A transactions, as well as financing of projects. Her area of expertise also includes procurement and construction for the extractive industries, as well as commercial contracts (material contracts including energy supply, EPC, etc).
From her recent work we can highlight the streaming transactions closed by Silver Wheaton and Glencore, as well as the negotiation of the EPC for the gasoducto del sur.
Marité became an associate of CMS Grau in 2006 and is a partner since 2014. She holds a master’s degree in mineral law and policy (LLM with distinction) from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy from the University of Dundee (UK) where she was a Chevening scholar.
