Mario Juárez is a partner in the Finance and Corporate Law practices of Garrigues’ Mexico City office. Before joining Garrigues, he was a partner at Ritch, Mueller, Heather y Nicolau, SC, where he worked for more than 10 years.
He has experience in international banking and financing transactions, including secured and unsecured loans, project finance and infrastructure projects, M&A and equity investments.
Mario Juárez has represented Mexican and foreign banks and multilaterals, including the IFC, IDB, OPIC and DEG, in several types of transactions, including syndicated loans, structured finance transactions, equity investments, granting of partial credit guarantees and equity and bond issuances in the capital markets in Mexico and the United States. He has also advised private equity funds and other foreign and domestic investors in M&A transactions.
