Mariana is responsible for the firm’s environmental practice, area in which she has ample experience advising and representing the firm´s clients regarding the structuring, request and granting of authorisations, licences, concessions and permits concerning environmental impact and risk, federal maritime zone, use of national waters and residual water discharges, construction of projects in national goods areas, transfer of contaminants, dangerous residues management, among others, necessary for the development of industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects.
She joined Galicia Abogados in 2006.
Mariana is member of the Environmental Task Force de la Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Mexico as well as of the Colegio de Abogados por el Ambiente, AC.
Mariana studied at the Universidad Panamericana with a specialisation in administrative law. She studied an environmental sustainability master's programme at the Centre for the Study of Environmental Change and Sustainability in the University of Edinburgh.
