Mariana Ardizzone leads the firm’s oil and gas practice. She is one of leading practitioners in the oil and gas industry in Argentina having practised oil and gas law both in-house and in private practice. She has structured several transnational gas pipeline projects (Bridas-Methanex Tierra del Fuego; Gasoducto del Pacífico; GasAndes) and power generation projects in the Southern Cone of South America; advised Petrobras in a US$570 international swap of assets and shares involving refineries, E&P assets and retail stations in Argentina and Brazil (EG3 & REFAP); advised several successful Canadian, US and UK E&P start-ups (Petro Andina, Río Alto Resources, Americas Petrogas, CanAmericas, Echo Energy), NOCs (Ecopetrol, Petrobras and Petronas) and independent companies (GeoPark, Santa Fe, Central Resources, Devon Energy, Quintana E&P, Novum Energy) in their farmouts, acquisitions and projects in Argentina.
Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Ms Ardizzone founded Ardizzone Abogados, was a partner with Maciel, Norman & Asociados and an in-house counsel with Pan American Energy LLC.
