Biography
María Lorena Schiariti is a partner on the administrative law team. As a specialist in administrative law, she works on matters of great complexity and importance, providing comprehensive advice.
She advises local and international private companies and public entities on matters related with public utility regulation, regulated activities oil and gas, mining, pharmaceutical industry, banks, ports and agribusiness, administrative contracts, project finance and procurement proceedings. She has recently been focusing on advising clients involved in infrastructure projects (banks, government suppliers, constructors, public agencies, etc).
She also advises foreign investors regarding bilateral investment treaties’ protection.
She has a law degree with a specialisation in administrative law from the University of Buenos Aires and a master’s in law and economics from Torcuato Di Tella University.
She was assistant professor of administrative law at the University of Buenos Aires and she regularly gives training sessions for private entity executives on administrative law.
