Biography
María de los Ángeles (Maruca) joined Galicia in 2006 as an intern in the capital markets and banking and finance practices. In 2009, she continued her development as an associate and was appointed partner of both practices in December 2022.
Her practice specialises in local and international public offerings of securities, both in the debt and equity markets, as well as advising issuers and institutional investors on regulatory compliance issues in the securities market. Likewise, her practice also consists of local and cross-border bank financings, representing both debtors and financial institutions.
Maruca is recognised as an “Associate to Watch” by some of the most renowned international legal directories and as a notable practitioner by specialised finance publications.
