Marcelo has more than 20 years’ experience in banking, finance and capital markets. He also specialises in project finance, securitisation, debt restructuring and derivatives and has also extensive experience advising on foreign exchange regulations in Argentina.
He has a strong track record in banking and capital markets transactions, which have positioned him as one of the leading lawyers in his practice area.
He has been recognised by Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500 and other legal publications as a highly recognised specialist in banking and finance law.
Before joining TRSyM, he was a partner at Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi (2000–2011), partner at Bazán, Cambré & Orts (2011–2014) and a foreign associate at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett, New York in 2002–2003.
He graduated as a lawyer (with honours) from the University of Buenos Aires in 1995 and holds an LLM in banking and finance from Queen Mary University, London, 1998.
