Biography
Marcelo Lamy Rego is a senior partner of Pinheiro Guimarães and co-heads the M&A and Private Equity practices of the firm. Marcelo has an impressive track record in complex and large-cap M&A deals in several industries, with notable mandates in the banking and financial industry, healthcare, energy and consumer businesses. Marcelo Lamy is considered by his peers and specialist publications as one of the most prominent M&A practitioners in Brazil and one of the most talented corporate lawyers of his generation. Marcelo has an LLM from Columbia Law School and is admitted to practise also in New York.
