Marcello Portes da Silveira Lobo has over 20 years of experience in advising banks, investors and debtors in finance, partnering, purchase and sale of companies engaging in infrastructure projects, mainly in the oil and gas and energy areas where a multidisciplinary approach and a deep understanding of regulatory complexities are critical. Marcello also acts on regulatory issues, including tariff review and disputes involving commercial contracts and industry legislation.
He holds a bachelor's Degree in Law from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and an MBA in energy business from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV). He was an international associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, USA and he is fluent in Portuguese, English and French.
