Biography
Specialist in mergers and acquisitions, project financing and financial transactions.
Macarena Ravinet is an expert in national and international M&A, focusing her practice on telecommunications, food and retail, corporate and financial restructuring, corporate governance, private equity, and project finance, particularly in energy and infrastructure. She also advises companies, foundations and non-profit organisations on corporate social responsibility and corporate, financial and tax matters.
She is a member of the Chilean Bar Association and the International Bar Association. She is also chair and director at the Chile Pro Bono Foundation and member of the International Pro Bono Network.
She has been an assistant lecturer of project financing in the master’s in Corporate Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She speaks at international conferences, including on the M&A panel of the International Bar Association in Latin America.
