Luisa Núñez has experience in corporate and financing areas, corporate matters, cross-border transactions involving finance transactions (both corporate and project finance), capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.
She has worked extensively in projects involving regulatory authorities in the Chilean securities and public works concessions areas. She has represented a range of clients including multinational corporations, banks, financial advisers and monoline insurers.
Ms Núñez is the lead professor of financing and derivative transactions in the master’s in business law at Adolfo Ibáñez University Law School.
From 2005 to 2006, she pursued an LLM degree at Columbia Law School, which included a project finance course from the MBA Program at Columbia Business School.
During 2006 and 2007, she worked as a foreign intern with the project finance team at Debevoise & Plimpton, LLP, New York office.
She joined Claro & Cia in 1999 and became partner in 2011.
