Biography
Luis is the head of the corporate and M&A practice at DLA Piper Peru. He focuses on local and cross-border corporate structures, corporate governance practices and contract negotiations. Likewise, Luis has extensive experience providing legal advice in reorganisation matters as well as complex corporate transactions in national and international franchises and joint ventures.
He has handled mergers and acquisitions mandates for local and foreign companies in various sectors, including construction, energy, real estate, retail and agriculture. Other key areas of his practice concentrate on foreign and local investment, mainly in private equity work and venture capital deals, advising investment funds and fund managers in Peru, including due diligence processes.
Finally, Luis guides clients in adapting to regulations concerning consumer data protection and in all aspects of merger control and antitrust matters.
