Luis Parada has been a partner of DLA Piper Chile since 2012. Before that, he was an associate at Bahamondez, Álvarez & Zegers between 2002 to 2012. Previously, he worked in the Professional Institute Foundation of the Chilean Occupational Safety Association (2001–2002).
Parada is the head of labour & employment and corporate immigration group. His practice includes collective bargaining and industrial relations; business restructuring and reductions in force; litigation in sophisticated cases (eg, anti-union claims, discrimination and breach of human rights by employers, among others); corporate compliance; internal investigations of labour and sexual harassment; employee benefits and compensations; transnational employment issues and global mobility.
He is also part of the Chilean Bar Association and labour sections of the main Chilean employers’ organisations and participates actively in speaking events to clients and industry events.
