Luis Octavio Núñez’s professional experience includes international mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investment, joint ventures, commercial loans to companies, debt restructurings and securities offerings in Mexico and abroad.
His practice includes the creation of financing structures and vehicles for the securitisation of real estate assets and the advice of real estate developers.
Partner at Kuri Breña, Sánchez Ugarte y Aznar, Luis Octavio was foreign associate in the Washington, DC office of Arnold & Porter. He was founding partner of the Mexico City office of Greenberg Traurig.
Mr Núñez received a law degree cum laude from Escuela Libre de Derecho and an LLM with honours from Georgetown University. He participated in the executive programme in taxation, finance and accounting at Instituto Tecnólogico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and in the executive programme in finance and accounting at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
